Welcome to Megan Metzger Consulting!

Hello, friends! I’m Megan Metzger, founder of Megan Metzger Consulting. Welcome to the new Megan Metzger Consulting blog. I’m so excited to start sharing resources and advice with my fellow nanny agency owners and small business owners.

Before we dive into blog posts about launching, growing, or managing your business, let’s cover some of the bases first.

A little more about me

I have always had a passion for working with children. I’ve cared for and taught children for over 20 years as a preschool teacher, KinderMusik educator, child care provider, and nanny.

In 2001, I founded my own nanny agency, Preferred ChildCare. Preferred ChildCare helps families in the Triad area in North Carolina find quality childcare providers, and is also one of the largest temp divisions in the country.

I’ve also served as a President of The International Nanny Association (INA), and still dedicate time to the INA and the Association of Premier Nanny Agencies (APNA) as a contributor. When I’m not working, you might find me horseback riding, traveling or spending time with my kids, Hunter, Lily, Emma, and Mason.

How MMC was founded

Throughout my career, I have supported and mentored both new and veteran agencies. I realized that my passion for helping business owners and my extensive experience working in the industry were needed by others who wanted to build a thriving nanny agency. I wanted to help women become successful and financially independent is a short amount of time. That led me to create Megan Metzger Consulting in 2017. Today, I offer a down to earth, honest approach that helps my fellow agency owners build successful businesses.

If you’re a newly launched agency, MMC is designed specifically to help you define and establish your brand so you can start running your business with more ease. If you’re an established agency, we offer services that can help you fine-tune your business or even rebuild it completely, if you like.

We’ll be sharing tons of resources right here

With this blog, you can expect me and my team to share free resources, tips, tools, and my thoughts on the nanny industry and agency business in general. Be sure to follow along, and make sure you’re subscribed to our email list so you know when new resources are waiting for you.
